After gathering information about the situation, actors, behaviors, and impacts, integrate all of your findings in the Conducting an Integrated Assessment Job Aid. This integrated assessment will help you determine the optimal approach for moving forward.
- If there is a clear pattern of counterproductive leadership and the behaviors are negatively impacting individuals and the unit, you should address it.
- If there isn’t a clear pattern of behavior and/or the behavior(s) seem appropriate to the context or situation, don’t take immediate action but continue to assess the situation and monitor the leader.
