Creating Opportunities for Observation and Assessment
Effective leaders make it a point to create opportunities to observe and assess subordinate leaders. One means to increase opportunities is to rotate leaders, assign responsibilities, and then observe and hold them accountable for their actions. During these opportunities, be sure to take notes and compare those notes with others to improve the accuracy of the assessment.
