NOTE: As the "dirty" team prepares to bring the patient to the hot line the "clean" team opens a blanket or other covering appropriate for the environmental conditions.

The "dirty" team brings the decontaminated patient to the hot line on the litter and places the litter on the litter stands. Three "dirty" team members log roll the patient up and off the litter. A fourth "dirty" team member removes the litter. The "clean" team replaces the litter. The "dirty" team lowers the patient onto the clean litter and moves away.
