Additional evacuation

• Ambulance squads of the Forward Support Medical Company (FSMC) evacuate patients from the BAS to the Division Clearing Station (DCS). An ambulance shuttle system may be set up between the FSMC DCS and the BAS. An Ambulance Exchange Point (AXP) is established so that ambulances are moving forward as others move to the rear; thus, enabling a continuous evacuation flow, while decreasing ambulance turnaround time.
