Purpose/
Scope
The 822-88H30 (ALC) course consists of two phases. Phase I (one) consists of 33 hours of non-resident distributed learning (dL) intended to train selected learning objectives. To complete the remaining learning objectives, the student must attend a subsequent resident Phase II (two) consisting of Operation of the Hagglunds Crane, Cargo Operations (Rail and Air), Rough Terrain Container Handler / RTCH Simulator, Warrior lessons, Squad leader responsibilities, and to include Operational Environment Lessons Learned, Ethical Decision Making, Sexual Harssment/Assault Prevention and Composite Risk Management.

This Distributed Learning (dL) portion of this course is 33 academic hours or 3 days of interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) and available via the Army Learning Management Systemon (ALMS) on-line. The dL course requirement must be completed and evaluated prior to the student's arrival to the resident portion of the course.


Prerequisite
PULHES 211222 Normal Red/Green (RG) Perception: YES Physical Demand Rating of very heavy-lift occasional over 100 lb, frequent 50lb. Course Security Clearance Y- None. Active Army, Army National Guard, Army Reserve enlisted soldiers reclassifying from previous MOS. Meets requirements outlined in AR 351-1 and AR 600-9. Qualifying scores: (a) A minimum score of 90 in aptitude area GM in Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) tests administered prior to 2 January 2002. (b) A minimum score of 88 in aptitude area GM in ASVAB tests administered on and after 2 January 2002.

How to
Access Product
Soldiers will be enrolled in this dL phase through ATRRS. This distributed learning (dL) phase I is prerequisite to resident phase II of the 822-88H30-C45 and 551-88H30-C45 courses. These dL lessons may be completed at home, in a DTF, classroom XXI or by personal computer (PC). The AC and RC soldiers must complete the dL phase at least 90 days prior to arrival at resident phase II. This will allow all ATTRS (dL) documentation to be completed prior to the students arrival at the resident school. It is required that each student attending the resident phase II show proof of completion of the dL phase I portion of the course before issuing the DA Form 1059. The dL technical lessons are located on the (ALMS) website is accessed via (AKO) website at https://www.us.army.mil. To get started: Step 1. Go to the "Self Service" tab located on the menu bar and select "My Training". Step 2.
