Soldiers who complete the 91W MOS and have a current Licensed Practical Nurse License requesting the M6 to be awarded (they were civilian trained with NO critical care in the curriculum); soldiers who are already 91WM6's and want a refresher or initial training in Critical Care prior to an assignment in the Critical Care/Emergency environment or before deployment. |
| How to Access Product |
The Department of Nursing Science (DNS) will use a web-based COTS product titled “Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) to provide a standalone curriculum consisting of nine modules to the target audience. Access to the COTS product will be accomplished through regional site managers. Each region has a site manager who will assign a password to the soldier. This will be coordinated through the Practical Nurse Course (PNC) Phase 2/3 Director and PNC Branch AMEDDC&S to the site manager. Students will be tracked through PNC Course Director and Branch to the Army Personnel Proponent Directorate (APPD). The COTS product will be hosted on the WebInservice Knowledge Deployment System (KDS) learning management system located at http://www.webinservice.com. |
