Don your mask within 9 seconds.

Stop breathing, holding your breath until the mask is sealed and cleared. Remove your headgear. Place your headgear in a convenient location, avoiding contaminated surfaces, if possible. Remove your glasses, placing them in a safe place (e.g. the overgarment pocket), if appropriate.
