Apply a pressure dressing if bleeding
continues after application of the field
dressing, manual pressure and elevation.

Check to see that the dressing does
not have a tourniquet-like effect.

1. Elevate.
2. Place padding over the wound.
3. Place dressing over the padding.
4. Wrap the wound.
5. Tie a knot over wound.
6. Make sure it does not have a tourniquet-like effect.
