Introduction

 
Overview

This US Army Correspondence Course Program (ACCP) Course consists of four phases.

Phase I. Four (4) subcourses: IS7032, IT0469, IT0468, and IS8720.

Phase II. Two weeks resident training.

Phase III. Eight (8) subcourses: EN0069, EN0113, EN0533, EN5111, EN5112, EN5115, EN5154, and EN5707.

Phase IV. Two weeks resident training .

It reflects the doctrine current at the time its subcourses were prepared.

Unless otherwise stated, the masculine gender of singular pronouns is used to refer to both men and women.

Purpose

To provide senior-level training for CW2(P) and CW3 Utilities Operation and Maintenance Technicians (MOS 210A).

 
Target
Audience
RC warrant officers qualified in MOS 210A. USAR warrant officers must be CW2(P) or CW3 in a senior warrant officer position. National Guard warrant officers must be CW2 or CW3 with at least 3 years time in grade.
 
Administration Phase I must be completed before starting phase II. A phase completion notice will be issued upon completing phases I, II, and III and a diploma upon completion of phase IV. Resident phases are taught at U.S. Army Engineer Center, Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473.
 
Requirements

There are no prerequisites for this course. There are no special requirements for those taking the course for general knowledge; however, the subcourses should be completed in the order shown below. You may also enroll for and earn credit, individually, for the subcourses that comprise this course.

EN0113, Construction Print Reading

EN0533, Carpentry III

EN5111, Water Supply (Plumbing II)

EN5112, Waste Systems (Plumbing III)

EN5115, Clear Waste System Stoppages (Plumbing VI)

EN5154, Estimate Materials for a Wall Form

EN5707, Comply with Host-Nation, Federal, State, and Local Environmental Laws and Regulations

Phase IV. Two weeks resident training.

Eligibility

The Army Correspondence Course Program courses/subcourses are available to U.S. Active and Reserve military officers, warrant officers, and enlisted personnel; Reserve Officers' Training Corps, National Guard Officer Candidate School, West Point cadets, and authorized federal civilian employees.

Military personnel must have enough time remaining in service to complete the course/subcourse in which they request enrollment.

Taking the Course/Subcourses On-Line

 
Taking the
subcourses

You do not have to wait for enrollment verification before beginning. You can start immediately. Everything you need to complete the course's component subcourses is provided on-line. You will need no additional materials, nor will any be sent to you. View and study all materials (including practical exercises), and take the subcourse final examinations.

 
Taking
the exams

REMINDER: To receive credit for the subcourses toward course completion, you must have received course enrollment verification by e-mail before taking any subcourse examination.

Once you complete an individual examination and "submit" your responses, you will be notified immediately if you have, or have not, earned a passing grade. You will receive your final grade (Completion Notice) by mail.
