Purpose/
Scope

To provide enlisted personnel with the skills necessary to perform tasks required of a dental specialist in the examination, care, and treatment of dental diseases and disorders.

This course provides the IDT and ADT portion of training for prior service Reserve Component personnel in skills necessary to perform tasks required of a dental assistant in the examination, care, and treatment of dental diseases and disorders. It also reinforces practical exercises experienced during the ADT.
