Overview

This US Army Correspondence Course Program (ACCP) Course consists of twenty seven (27) subcourses: IT0651, IT0655, IT0638, IT0669, IT0670, IT0680, IT0682, IT0689, IT0688, IT0676, IT0685, IT0664, IT0637, IT0641, IT0672, IT0673, IT0674, IT0675, IT0659, IT0661, IT0677, IT0678, IT0645, IT0652, IS3008, IS3009, and IT0697.

It reflects the doctrine current at the time its subcourses were prepared.

Unless otherwise stated, the masculine gender of singular pronouns is used to refer to both men and women.

Purpose

To provide a course of study for the Imagery Exploitation Officer, the Imagery Intelligence Technician, and the Imagery Analyst.

 
Target
Audience
Officers with a speciality code of 35C, warrant officers with MOS 350D, and enlisted personnel with MOS 96D. Special equipment is required for some of these subcourses.
 
Requirements

There are no prerequisites for this course. There are no special requirements for those taking the course for general knowledge; however, the subcourses should be completed in the order shown below.

IT0697, Operating the Limited Procurement Urgent (LPU) System

(1) Special Equipment is not required for the following subcourses: IT0659, IT0677, IT0661, IT0678, IS3008, IS3009, AND IT0697.
(2) A coordinate scale (and protractor) (GTA 5-2-12) is required for IT0641.
(3) A stereoscope, tube magnifier, or magnifying glass is required for the following subcourses: IT0637, IT0638, IT0641, IT0645, IT0651, IT0652, IT0655, IT0664, IT0669, IT0670, IT0672, IT0673, IT0675, IT0675, IT0674, IT0676, IT0680, IT0682, IT0685, IT0688, and IT0689.
NOTE: IT0637 also requires a PI scale or inch ruler/centimeter scale.

Eligibility

The Army Correspondence Course Program courses/subcourses are available to U.S. Active and Reserve military officers, warrant officers, and enlisted personnel; Reserve Officers' Training Corps, National Guard Officer Candidate School, West Point cadets, and authorized federal civilian employees.

Military personnel must have enough time remaining in service to complete the course/subcourse in which they request enrollment.

Taking the Course/Subcourses On-Line

 
Taking the
subcourses

You do not have to wait for enrollment verification before beginning. You can start immediately. Everything you need to complete the course's component subcourses is provided on-line. You will need no additional materials, nor will any be sent to you. View and study all materials (including practical exercises), and take the subcourse final examinations.

 
Taking
the exams

REMINDER: To receive credit for the subcourses toward course completion, you must have received course enrollment verification by e-mail before taking any subcourse examination.

Once you complete an individual examination and "submit" your responses, you will be notified immediately if you have, or have not, earned a passing grade. You will receive your final grade (Completion Notice) by mail.
